A new live one here. Made an earlier appearance in another thread to announce that he was a Trump supporter. Has apparently learned from the Master Himself that just making shit up is a terrific strategy for success, although he’s not very good at it. Also, he is poor – so poor, in fact, that he cannot afford a keyboard with a “Shift” key, or else is too poor to use capital letters. Apparently hangs out at golf courses, though, because they “wave” the fees for Trump voters (they probably “wave” them right in his illiterate face before giving him the old bum’s rush). Is this a new troll or a smelly sock returning unto our midst? Hard to tell.

yes, i do think its ok to exaggerate for the sake of making a point, provided there is no effort to mislead (there isnt, i exaggerated and readily admitted it.)
you can decide whether you think im a trump supporter or not-- personally, i dont think hes adolf hitler. i dont even think hes as terrible as bush jr. im also not making up or exaggerating anything in this post-- but i didnt read anything in the rules about banning sarcasm or hyperbole either. that seems to be a local mores, not a rule. if i missed it, feel free to point it out.
generally speaking, im operating from sincerity here. you dont have to take my word for it, but imo this thread is a great place to make assumptions about people you dont know yet. youre free to do so, but you might end up being more mistaken than you intend to be.
of course if its just about whether you like someone or not, then its going to be a lot more reliable. you like people, or you dont. thats not a new thing that came about from social media. cheers.

You can obviously shift on your keyboard (the parentheses are a dead giveaway, after all) so that’s not a legitimate excuse for typing posts as though they are tweets or telephone messages. You also mentioned that you’re not familiar with the culture on this board. Unsurprisingly, part of that culture is to not type posts like they’re tweets or SMS blurbs.
