I guess what i was trying to get at is that in living memory people thought gays were icky and didnt want to here from or about them. Now we feel the same way about FJ. I freely admit you all might be right and me wrong. I just dislike driving people away because we are made unconfirtable about them.

There is a quantitative difference between a thread saying ‘I’m gay and I’m feeling persecuted at work’ and the series of threads asking ‘Have you ever thought about being in a Turkish prison? How do you feel abut gladiator movies?’
Do we need more posters who talk about eating shit? I don’t think so. I fail to see how that makes a contribution to the board. I’d sooner read about what jtur88 likes to eat. I think he should be directed to the egress as quickly as possible.

Addendum - I don’t have a problem with him or anybody else being gay and discussing LGBT topics. I have a problem with him being a shit eater and having rape fantasies.

No, I don’t see the irony at all. Read his fucking threads. If they don’t disgust you, fine. I’d be cool with a topic ban, at least. No more scatological threads. No more “if someone tried to rape you, how would you react?” threads. But again, read a few of his fucking threads first, then jump to his defense all you want. Not trolling. I believe that people should be allowed to speak and I despise the intent to silence (especially unpopular) speech. Its as simple as that. Its not like he is on a public street with a bullhorn forcing us to hear what he has to say. He is easily ignored.
Why are you trying to reason against the hive-mind? You expect to get somewhere when simple concepts like don’t read threads you don’t like elude them?
Maybe, but the First Amendment doesn’t apply here. TPTB can silence him, ban him, or do whatever the hell they want with him, the same as you or me.
