On a very special Blossom: Wheredshego?

Mrs. RickJay and I were laughing about “Blossom” the other day when it occurred to us that we’ve never seen Mayim Bialik (who played Blossom) in anything since.

A Web search suggests that she hasn’t been in anything, not so much as a TV commercial, since 1994. Most of her castmates have had steady work, though. (To my surprise, Giovanni Ribisi got his start on “Blossom.” I hadn’t remembered that.)

Is she dead? In rehab? Where?

Happily, she is in the UCLA neuroscience PhD program, and acting occasionally.

Last I heard (and I’m ashamed to admit I was actually curious about this) she was in college in California, majoring in something like Biology (decidedly not show biz) and apparently didn’t really mis acting that much.

Thanks for the cites, all. I must admit to a degree of mild disappointment that she isn’t huffing nose candy and acting in pictures like Awesome Anal Attacks XXVI. Oh well, there’s always hope Joey Lawrence could be caught in a big smack bust.
