The McCain/Palin campaign hasn’t shied away from courting the racist hatred vote, you have to admit. If DT said that “Republicans are all racists”, then that’s something else entirely.

I didn’t see that thread, but I’ll take your word for it. Shodan’s brand of ridiculous partisanship is different from that, though I find it just as annoying. It’s his weasel-wording and spinning that makes him insufferable. I’m not interested in searching for quotes, so if you choose not to accept that, that’s ok and I won’t push the issue. That’s been my impression, at least.
The difference is, if SDMB were a perfect reflection of Freep, there would have been 15 posters in that thread backing him up, and no one telling him he was full of shit. Why would I need a cite for your opinion? I accept it. I just find the hostility, hatred, extreme mischaracterizations, and demonizations a bit worse than “spin” YMMV

I regret the things have said in this and other threads. The future is starting to look beautiful and I hate to start it off with the same old animosity. If you will accept my apology I humbly offer it. The same goes for any other Republicans or conservatives. This is hopefully the beginning of something great, lets try to break the mold and just discuss things rationally and try to respectfully disagree.
