On the Amazing Race, we have now seen three teams stripped of their cash and set to begging in the streets (generally with surprising success). Do we know if the teams are allowed to sell their belongings? It would certainly be easier to go up to a stranger and offer to sell your watch or a shirt instead of outright begging, and ideally he would say “I don’t need your shirt, but here’s a few bucks.” But no one is doing that. Is it allowed?
