I actually learned something new about CP today. From here he believes not only that black people are, on average, less intelligent genetically speaking, but even when comparing people with the same IQs (such as a black person and a white person each with an IQ of 130), the black person most likely has inferior genes for intelligence to pass onto his or her children. So he believes that even a high-IQ black person has inferior genes for intelligence than a high-IQ non-black person.
There’s no genetic evidence for this, of course, but it is quite revealing.
Heck, with him relying on Rushton I almost got my Racialist Bingo!

As I’m on the record, I do not post much as an attempt to convince idiots who can not read and rely on logical fallacies like the Chief or brazil, I post mostly to point others on what the science really says and it is also to learn, more than half of the items I posted here and in the other thread at GD were new to me, and they told me that indeed, there is even less to fear from these racialist dunderheads. Scientists, skeptical sites and many others looked already at the evidence and report that it is pseudoscience what they push.
And I still need to win my bingo.

I appreciate it, but it takes far less time to start up a website, gather the links you’ve found together and supply a link to the website in this all future iterations of this argument. I find what you guys find interesting as well, but going through the hurdles sifting the wheat from the chaff, keeps me from seeing the material.
Of course it is, but there are few people who hold these racist beliefs, couch it all in pseudoscientific lingo, and then are able to be convinced of their errors by actual scientific data.
To show that these guys are pseudoscientists all you need to do is have them list all the studies that contradict their pet theory. Real scientists are usually aware of the breadth of their field of interest, pseudoscientists only know the results that support their beliefs and ignore everything else.
Well, a little background, I got involved there because the Chief just made equivalent of a Catholic that things many contradictory things before supper. Unfortunately management does not seem fit to close threads like that one, though I think it should be done, but they are on the record that it is better to keep this on the light to disinfect.
Not many sites available on genetics doing that, while climate scientists and GMO ones have sites to deal with the pseudo-scientists, it seems that because the pseudos of the racialists do not have any traction even in politics, biologists and geneticists do not think that they should bother. They already had their discussion and as the joke goes the paradigm change took place awhile ago and now the change is more complete when the main proponents of the old nonsense are dead or dying.
Of course, and I agree, but I have to insist on the point that I’m also learning from this, the take home lesson is that I would advise the scientists out there to be more proactive on dealing with this nonsense and take the advise of sites like Talkorigins and Skeptical Science on making a site to deal with the nonsense.
Maybe someday I may have the time to make something like that against the racialists, but the management of the SDMB should IMHO close most of those threads after it is clear that the racialists are not capable of finding good support where it counts or that they continue to rely on the same old same old.
I know plenty of people prefer not to engage the proponents of the sad pseudoscience of racialism/race realism/scientific racism/etc, and that’s fine, but I think it’s important to not let such views go unchallenged. I know I’m not going to change their minds, but others will follow the threads, and I want it very openly clear just how pseudoscientific and weak their arguments are.
Of course there is more than just showing that guys like the Chief are just racists playing a game of pretend, there is also the very pitiable and demonstrated idiocy in how they debate for all to see.

Sure he does, what a stinky liar, his continued posting demonstrates that genes were the big reason why he continues posting the same old and it does not matter that he was caught already with demonstrated strawmen and bullshit. It would be bad enough that he could be called a racist, but I always take those guys as ignorant crackpots, the unfortunate effect for him and others is that we also can see them as shady irresponsible debaters that resort to lie to get sorry points across.
