Once again, GWB (TWP - The Worst President) asleep at the switch.

That’s like asking Brownie after the dikes broke how he intended to fix the Katrina mess.

This is the point of my whole rant. You have to have people in power that have enough intelligence, foresight and strategy to out think and out plan those that want to harm or dominate you. Tools like Dub and his puppetmasters (the neocons) that are operating on and living in some world of their imagination are exactly what is wrong with the way this country is being run.

Just to boil it down to the basic elements. Dub goes along with these delusional clowns and invades Iraq thinking that by hitting a home run on Opening Day he’s won the World Series. (If these guys weren’t totally delusional the wouldn’t have had pulled the “Mission Accomplished” stunt.) Meanwhile, Iraq is happier than a pig in shit that the US has done their dirty work for them at no cost and they can now yank our chain at every chance because we’re bogged down and our military is totally stressed out.

Putin is sitting there laughing his ass off because he learned early on that Cheney & Co. are so short sighted that if he’s a bit patient he can do whatever the fuck he wants and they are powerless to challenge him.

Now, like chess, it’s 5 moves down the board and it’s check, check check and with the US in the defensive position.

The commentators subbing for Brooks and Shields tonight on the PBS News Hour thought that probably they were getting mixed messages in Georgia. On MSNBC’s Countdown, Rachel Maddow pointed out that what with McCain sending out Lieberman and Graham and making statements of unconditional support for Georgia as he is, it wouldn’t be surprising if Georgia were to get mixed messages. It really is out of line for McCain to be sending what amounts to his own private envoy at this time. It would be inappropriate if Obama were doing it, and it’s inappropriate that McCain is doing it. The SecState should be able to discuss policy with Georgia without a second message coming in and possibly jamming the airwaves, to force a metaphor.
