It’s possible I’m wrong, but the coffin theory fits with what stories we know at the moment, which is most things focus around the Queen and Snow White. I’ve seen clips of James kissing Snow awake somewhere in previews so they will likely expand on that. Btw, it was kinda neat to see that Ella and Snow are sisters in law. Neatly hand waves multiple kingdoms away, after all the fairy tales are never really explicit in that the prince is the first born.
Who was James engaged to before Snow anyway? I thought it was Ella before she truly popped up.
It’s all right. It was just rattling in my brain.
Another thought, re: Henry’s theory that only Emma can really leave, how did Henry get there then? If everyone is contained in Storybrooke, and time is/was at a standstill I doubt many people would be vacationing there, or not for long, and it would be hard for Mr Gold to make outside contacts to arrange to get Henry. Emma has never been to Storybrooke before she was brought there by Henry, so she put him up for adoption somewhere else and who knows where that was given her tendency for itchy feet.
So I would like to know how Mr Gold was able to get Henry there.
I modified your quote to insert points of response. Hope that’s obvious and not ulterior seeming.
I couldn’t tell from watching, but the blogs seem to agree its her glass coffin. They also mention Jiminy eating a Lost Apollo candy bar and all the miners having flasks. TGF the bloggers.
I thought it was random snooty arranged marriage princess who also plays his wife in this reality.
Henry was born outside Storybrooke.
This bothered me, if only in the sense of, how is Reds Grandma keeping her B&B open?
I have to add. I’m not a fan of the premise or of Jennifer Morrison, but I like her here, and I like the direction they’ve taken the show.
2.) correct
3.) correct
4.) B&B also is a coffee shop/diner - when Emma stayed at the B&B portion, it looked as if she was the first guest in a long time.
What is the significance of the miners having flasks? I thought I saw some of them with beer cans, and thought it was a little odd. I mean, I can understanding cracking open a cold one after something like that, but are they all going to get a buzz on and then drive the heavy machinery back to where it belongs?
The producers and writers of Once Upon A Time also worked on LOST. They like to put little “easter egg” allusions to *LOST *in Once, like the town clock being stuck at 8:15–two of the special numbers on LOST.
I’m not sure how to take that. I didn’t watch Lost, but I did follow some of the threads here, and I was more than a little disgusted to hear the ending they came up with, enough so that I’ve decided I’m not likely to try watching it in the future, too.
At least they’re starting with the premise that magic is involved, instead of promising real world explanations and finishing off with, “nope, sorry, you actually did die in that crash, have a nice afterlife.”
Which writers though? LOST had a really high turnover in writers..nearly clearing the room after each season (might be why the shows started to suck since it got further and further from the ones who set up the pins)
I don’t have a link to it cuz I’m not a member/subscriber…but did anyone else see the Entertainment Weekly article on the show? The creators did a FAQ about it and outright said
that the Mayor is fully aware of the curse and fully aware of their past life in fairytale land.
They also said that they have “something big” planned for Rumple/Gold.
I don’t like this because she is neither too nice of a person to be oblivious, nor too mean a person to be as evil as she “should” be being an evil queen and all.
But as we were debating for however long as to who knew what…the creators let that cat out of the bag
I guess since it was something we speculated on anyway, and it was in a public magazine I didn’t think it needed it, but I totally failed the “better safe than sorry” test.
Apologies to all who might have seen and are now mad at me :(:(:(
