I am catching up on this show called Once Upon a Time and it occurred to me that Neverland was the Lost island when Peter Pan’s shadow looked so much like the lost smoke monster. I just watched an episode where Prince Charming is doomed to stay on the lost island forever and it occurred to me that Prince Charming and Snow White are Adam and Eve (skeletons from the cave in Lost), Peter Pan (or possibly Rumple) is the guy that plays the satan type character and Henry (or possibly Peter Pan) is the guy that plays jesus type character.
I thought I recognized a stretch of beach and if they make giant statue feet, then I’m gonna call it.
I can’t be the first one to think of this but the search function is either not working or noone watches once upon a time
Dear OP: You are suffering from what is known as DPTLS delayed post-traumatic LOST syndrome. You were so traumatized by the absolutely unimaginative and bungled denouement of that series that you never fully recovered from the experience and the trauma has now made it impossible for you to enjoy any other show with fantastical or supernatural elements w/o some subconscious attempt to resolve the 10^40 or so loose ends left dangling at the end of LOST.
I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but there is no known cure aside from a pre-frontal lobotomy or possibly a long course of electro-convulsive therapy. Personally I would opt to self-medicate with hookers and blow, but that’s just me.
“Once Upon a Time” (both versions) was created by the same creators of “Lost,” Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis.
Tons of “OUAT” characters are “Lost” retreads, including Belle (same chick who played Claire, the blonde, pregnant Australian), Anton (Hugo), King George (Charles Widmore) and Jafar from the Alice spinoff (Sayid).
Funny you should ask. Last night we watched the episode where the Neverland shadow was introduced. I laughed out loud when Mr. Gold is telling Lacey (a/k/a Claire from Lost) about the one person who can be his undoing, and explains why he can’t kill him with, “It’s complicated.” I think there was a bit of snickering in the writers’ room when that went in the script!
Rumple reveals that he cannot kill Peter Pan and that made me think that Rumple and peter might be jacob and the other guy. And Henry with the truest heart… maybe he’s Jacob. Who the heck knows but I may just be seeing patterns in static but I can’t help it.
Well, I’m still hoping that the next star wars movie will explain that midichlorians a marker of the force ability not the source of the force. Kind of like algae that feeds on the force.
