A couple of months ago, I read a series of online essays about the Star Wars saga. They were complex, well-written pieces of analysis, on Slate.com or someplace like that.
Now, of course, I can’t find them again.
Anyone know what I’m talking about?

Le’s see, google Brin Star Wars and yep his article appeared in Salon (close enough?), so maybe that’s it: “Star Wars” despots vs. “Star Trek” populists. He’s just jealous because his movie was The Postman.
