Open request to webcomic creators

I doubt many webcomic creators will actually see this, but on the off-chance there may be a few here on the SDMB, I thought I’d throw this out there:

Please, please, please — if your webcomic features an ongoing storyline or even simply short story arcs, put some “Previous” and “Next” buttons at the top of the page, above the comic.

I can’t be the only webcomic reader who is occasionally misses a few days in a row for one reason or another. When this happens, the next time I have a chance to catch up on my webcomic reading I need to skip back a few installments to find where I left off. I try to do this by clicking the “Previous” or “Back” navigation button and glancing at the first panel of each page until I spot one I remember seeing before.

But when the navigation buttons are located only at the bottom of the page, I have to scroll down … and more often than not this ends up spoiling the storyline for me because I see the entire comic every time I scroll down.

(Obviously, this isn’t much of an issue with joke-a-day webcomics like The Book of Biff, which can be read in reverse order with no ill effects.)
