Enduring Freedom is an okay name, though - not great.
“Enduring Freedom” can be taken in a couple of ways - as in, “Persistent Freedom”, or as in, “Enduring a visit by the in-laws.”
How about “Operation Fremen Stomp”?
Or even “Operation Make Saddam sleep with the fishes”?

As I just said in another thread, since Freedom Fries inform us that Freedom = French, then the official name is actually Operation Iraqi French.

They call it “Operation Iraqi Freedom” as if the primary reason we’re bombing the country is to free the people. Like we didn’t get involved because of our own interests or something. What bullshit.

No, no, no…it was originally called “Operation Backbone” until it was determined that the French could not even participate in the cleanup from such an action…thus a more spongy, touchy-feely name was found.
“Operation Glass Parking Lot” is reserved for if coalition troops get gassed.
Okay, I know I’m evil for this and it is not a laughing matter but I just damn near broke a rib laughing over that.
