There’s more and more data coming in about vaccine efficacy in terms of preventing infection. The data is still coming in about more serious cases and worst outcomes, but the preponderance of the evidence seems to suggest that the vaccines are generally holding up well in that regard across the population.
However, risk is always specific to the individual. There are categories within the averages. I think people over the age of 70, even if they are vaccinated, should exercise great caution, maybe not quite to the same extremes as what we saw for much of 2020, but we’re well past the spring, both literally and figuratively speaking.
It’s probably information that’s available, but in 51 (or 52 if we include Purta Rico) places. Here’s New Hampshire’s hospitalization numbers at least: 53 in the hospital as of today, and I think two deaths this week.
That looks like it’s total numbers for NH. I was specifically looking for the death and hospitalization rates separately for vaccinated and unvaccinated people.
Which I just found for my home state! They’ve only published data for 3 weeks so far, but over time it will become useful.
