I do a lot of stock trading with a broker called Options Xpress. It has a platform called Xtend which allows streaming quotes and trades without having to use Internet Explorer.
They came out with a new update which is mandatory for Xtend to keep working. To install it, one must first install Adobe Air, which appeared to install fine, but after I start installing Xtend, I get an error.
“The application could not be installed. Try installing it again. If the problem persists, contact the application author.” Then it says “Error#0”.
I was able to install it on my Alienware computer, but I like to keep that one for games only. The computer it doesn’t work on is a Dell Inspiron 1545, Windows 7, Pentium Dual Core 2.3 GHz, 3 GB ram.
Any ideas?
