Here you are. I haven’t watched it yet myself so I can’t say anything about it. I’ll be back later. Don’t make a mess before I get back, huh? If you behave, I’ll bring some ice cream.
And the stories go on. Piper is back and has a bit of a reputation and more respect now among the inmates. The fight between her and Pennsyltucky officially didn’t happen. I haven’t watched any further so I don’t know if their truce is long lasting. I don’t think Piper wants to continue hostilities (not that she wants to be friends, either). Pennsyltucky, on the other hand, well, something’s just not right with her, not that everything ever was right with her, so who knows? The other women in her group seem to be standing up to her for a change. And Vee, I guess, was one of the HBIC and wants to be HBIC again.
This was also where we got Suzanne’s backstory - although not her crime. It was really satisfying without being too obvious - her parents did clearly love her and fight for her, even though it must have been hard for her growing up with white parents and a white sibling (I think the sibling part would have made it harder, given that she was a biological child) and even if they may not have always made the most satisfying decisions.
With one strong leader (amongst the inmates) being added this season, and another being substantially developed, Pennsatucky is starting to look a bit irrelevant.
I found it interested that Suzanne’s mother and Piper are physically similar - her obsession with “Dandelion” makes more sense to me now.
