That red hair sure carries through the generations, doesn’t it? I wonder how that second one from the left in Draketooth’s generation got skipped. Also, it looks like that generations starts with the facial marks/scars/tattoos.

Granted, Belkar wouldn’t be allowed to stab people at random like he’d want to. But that’s an indication Belkar doesn’t belong in Heaven in the first place.
Is anyone else disappointed that the trap wasn’t shaped like a boot? 
I was trying to figure out why you’d need the whamming thing when you already had a trapdoor. Best I can figure is that for dramatic purposes the bird needed to fall into the trap too.
The trap door is there to hide the bodies. The stomper didn’t push them into the pit - first it smashed them, *then *the trap door opened.
That’s not clear from the picture, which shows the trapdoor open under the stomper. I suppose all will be made clear eventually.
Yeah that trapdoor is already open when the stomper comes down, that is what is shown in the third to last panel.
