For you Kickstarterers, there was a note in the comments from Burlew recently saying that due to “circumstances” the next update will be delayed by a week or two but will still likely include the first of eight (!) PDF stories for backers, this one being a Belkar prequel story. FWIW, I’m betting on a Buggy Lou appearance.

Hee. So that’s what Elan was going to do. (And I find it hilarious that Roy was preparing for the quite likely event of retreat. That’s OOTS Plan A, after all.)
Looks like the Linear Guild is going to jump right back into the fray, but this time without Sabine’s services. And Kilkil will be down for the count, at least until they can get to Malack. Not that Kilkil’s actually proven he can actually fight.
Moreover, Tarquin’s taken over leadership of the Linear Guild after all, and Nale realizes it.
The imp’s gone too. So that’s the imp, Sabine and Kilkil out of it for the Guild, and with Malack and V out of contact with their respective groups.
So Tarquin doesn’t have a recall charm on his axe after all. Sloppy of him.
So since Plan A is out, time for Plan B: set something on fire?
Yeah, I got far enough figuring the odds when it happened to know I had used up all my luck for the rest of my existence, including the afterlife. 
I actually still have those dice. Never come close to doing anything like that again in the intervening 30 years.
I have had some high stats characters, but never with just 3 6 sided for rolls. We used one of the alternate methods, usually 4d6, drop the lowest.

Sympathy for the Giant, I suppose.
But at last I got my shipping notice!!!
Well, I hope he gets better soon. But on the bright side, strips were coming so slowly that 6 weeks is really only a couple of missed episodes.
Then again, the reason the online strips were going slowly was that he was putting a lot of time into the Kickstarter stuff. Which will also be delayed by this, so now even when it starts back up again, we’ll still be going slow.
I hope he’s at least working on plot and story in the meanwhile.
Look, dammit, there are double amputees who learn to paint beautiful pictures with their toes. A few stick figures should be easy. Frankly I think he’s just slacking.
I’m guessing it would take him longer to learn to use his toes (or left hand) than it would to wait for his dominant hand to heal.
Hopefully, he is creating rough outlines, and just needs to draw the detail when he’s back, so then we’ll get several in a row.
I’m kind of hoping my post was read with the tongue-in-cheek tone I intended.
And I’m betting that as frustrated as we fans may be at his inability to draw at the moment, Burlew is far moreso.
