And with new art, including at least three creatures that have never been seen before. This bodes well for our brave Digit Knight.
Speaking of which, what are the two invertebrate things, and why is Hinjo fighting them?
Wow. It’s been so long that I completely forgot about the Resistance.
For the XPs, of course!
Welcome back, Rich! We’ve missed you!
They’re carrion crawlers. Maybe they’re in a sewer? Or some other place with carrion and crawling?
Carrion crawlers were my first thought, but they’re nonsentient. Unless the talking was just artistic license? And the location appears to have windows, not the typical carrion crawler environment.
That was quick. Rich must be feeling pretty good to get that done so quickly.
I assumed that the Azurites were still in the process of clearing out the elven ruins for their new colony. Relevant stip #643
Ravens aren’t that good at comforting people it appears.
This trip doesn’t disappoint.
I’ve always said that math never leads to a good place.
Also, yay for the Digit Knight and his return to regular updates!
“Wait - unless it’s multiplicative.”
Now there’s a phrase you don’t hear a raven say every day.
I’m hoping V’s angst is close to running its course. This one added some interesting supposition, but I feel like we’ve done this a couple of times.
Move on, <gender-neural epithet>!
And you’ll hear it nevermore.
That makes me feel … “weak and weary”.
…
I agree that V needs to ‘man up’ and get on with it. But then again, I haven’t ever been the cause of the deaths of countless sapient beings. I feel badly when I have to speak harshly to my neighbor’s dog when she strays onto my land. “Go home, Bella! Go home!” Can’t imagine getting all crackly-faced and cursing her entire lineage.
By “cursing,” you mean “annihilating.”
Point taken. Perhaps I should have specified ‘lethally cursing’. Regardless, if there are Karmic forces in play in this story, then V has some serious misery coming in his/her future.
