Really, the revolving door for the LG has been the Belkar analog and the Durkon analog.

ETA: I predict that the psion will not intervene directly but only support Tarquin, so we won’t see a direct caster fight.
Notice the second panel: Roy’s off to get healed via potions. And Julio’s being wound in. Both will be present shortly. Tarquin will be out of his depth.
Add in a healed Belkar(with lizard shrinkage rage) and a still melee competent Durkon and T should get smoked.
Of course since it seems he is the avatar for people who bitch about the story and plot, could it end any other way?
