But I think another major factor is his knack for needlessly complicated plans. The defences of this dungeon are an example of precisely that.
I was wondering why he hadn’t indulged in a foot pop until I scrolled to the last row and saw it was eleven, or maybe even fifteen.
“Head for the one that’s already open” doesn’t take any particular amount of out-figuring. And I don’t think it’ll work, anyway, because he doesn’t have the magical tattoos on his butt.
I just checked to jog my faulty memory. It was in actually Haley that solved it, (also almost immediately), in 2020. What a lot of plot we’ve had in 5 years.

25 day gap that time, the largest in quite awhile. I was hoping Rich could put out more than the 22 and 21 he has gotten out the door the last two years respectively, and with 15 so far he likely will, but it’s a far cry from his pace early in the strip’s run. [Yes I am well aware of his main reason, and as someone who has been working on a project which has experienced its own delays I can definitely relate]
