Didn’t we learn from Nate and Nale’s Dad that falling isn’t especially lethal for high level characters? I see that falling maxes out at 20d6 or about 70 HP. Terminal velocity is at 200 feet (1d6 for each 10 feet). Even with damage taken, that seems survivable, except for Minrah who luckily didn’t go over the cliff.
Aw, that’s sad.
But heroic.
Do you think the floors are intended to be water, or just blue?
I guess landing on one’s feet is a get-out-of-fall-damage in that world. If the fall’s that far, it isn’t in this one.
-–suThey must have survived being fallen on before, and look like they will again. That’s got to hurt, though. will be blurred

That’s surprisingly poignant.
Frozen water most likely. They are at the north pole.
Glacial ice is often blue. Both in our world, and in D&D worlds where it’s likely to be magically-indestructible glacial ice.
I just figured it was the sound a cat makes landing on its feet.
Got something in my eye.
Sorry - those were two separate thoughts. The strip is poignant. The cat landing was the punchline.
So the flumphs went from cliched schtick to heroes.

I love how Minrah has developed her own unique voice. Give me that line, and there’s only one member of the party it could have come from.
Like the allusion to the Eastwood Malkovich vehicle In The Line Of Fire.
Looks like Serini is sneaking out a hidden door or activating a trap or something. I can’t think of why she’s facing the wall.
She didn’t see that coming…
I think it sounds pretty Elan-ish
Oh, ouch!
