That’s the only thing that makes sense to me. She’s someone who was defeated by Xykon before. And she’s going to try and stop the one group of people who have ever defeated him?
I mean, given how levels work in this game, Xykon was weaker when he defeated her than when Roy forced Xykon to have to regenerate.
That’s part of why it didn’t occur to me that she’d think the Order of the Stick was too weak to defeat Xykon.
Serini does know all about the teleport traps in her setup, so she likely can hop in and out of them in a bunch of random places (even places that aren’t traps) in that maze of doors and tunnels. <pop!> <dart goes ffffffft!> <pop!>
If she’s got any magic blood left, can she ressurrect Xykon into a troll?
Does amnesia potions work like that in D&D? Serini said it would make Lien and O-Chul forget recent memories. But Redcloak has been working on the Plan for decades. And at least part of the Plan was implanted in his mind by divine magic. It seems to me like you’d need some epic level magic to erase all that.
I don’t think there are official rules for “amnesia potion” in D&D. This is, excuse the pun, homebrew.
I’m also guessing it has to be ingested, not injected - if Serini can deliver it by dart, why not dart the paladins directly, instead of dragging them back to her hideout?
“Beat the crap out of Redcloak until he agrees” doesn’t really sound like a Roy Plan. Maybe if it was phrased “Defeat Xykon then Redcloak doesn’t have the arcane component for the ritual and will have to negotiate” or something but “Beat the shit out of 'im” not so much.
