I’m creating a playlist of various artists (theme: summer) with various tempos. I have a total of 16 songs. I want to order them by tempo in a manner that naturally flows.
The tempos are slow, medium, fast, with a notation for danceable versions of each (subjective, I know, but who dances to Steely Dan?). I figure I’ll start with a medium and end with a slow but I can’t come up with a good scheme for ordering in between.
What pattern would you recommend? Should I mix different patterns? This is all pretty anal, I know, especially since this is just for hanging around the house. Any suggestions are welcome.
