Reminds me of the color of the walls in the rooms of my old college dorm. On the first floor, they were “light blue”. On the third floor, they were “grungy white”. On the second floor: “puke yellow”.
If you were a serious Oregon fan you would know that all of their athletic uniforms are manufactured and designed by Nike, so if you are going to blow a gasket at someone, Phil Knight, CEO of Nike is the one you are looking for.
I’m aware that Nike does the uniforms, and they a decent job with the ones Oregon was using for the last couple of years.
But I can’t imagine the university not having the final say on the uniform design. If they don’t, then someone at the university should be faulted for giving away the veto, and if they did have the final say, then someone should be faulted for approving of this design.
This is my question too. Surely, even if Nike provides the uniforms it doesn’t get to choose the school’s colours?
Also, on a semi-related note, i thought that Phil Knight started screaming and foaming at the mouth a few years ago when Oregon became part of the Workers’ Rights Coalition that opposed selling sweat shop-produced apparel in Universioty stores. I seem to remember him vowing never to give another cent to the University.
I have nothing to add, Atreyu, except to congratulate you on your fine use of an apostrophe at the end of a plural-posessive. Proper apostrophe usage is a dying art.
