Just curious, but what other message boards do people here frequent? IMHO, the Straight Dope is by far the best, but I also visit the MSNBC message boards quite a bit (to piss off the conservatives), and I recently have started going to the Nine Inch Nails message board. What other message boards are worth visiting?
I recommend cygnus-study.com. It has a Christianity-debate board, a Humanities board, and a Christian Fellowship board. The people are highly intelligent and well-spoken. The conversations are interesting and lively. The webmaster is brilliant and fair. The debates can get most heated, however. If you don’t mind the occasional flame, though, the board is worth a try.
I regretfully do not recommend CARM.org. Unfortunately, the webmaster is a biased facist and tends to delete posts and ban posters at his arbitrary whim. He censors language also. If you’re a devout Christian you most likely won’t have a problem, but if you’re not, this board may leave a bad taste in your mouth. This is unfortunate because the board does have a great crowd that is smart and fun to hang with.

I tried to get on Snopes in the past, but they weren’t taking new members for some reason.
I go on an Everquest board which is fairly amusing. Although I only go into the sections actually about the game and stay out of ther “MPSIMS” style sections. You guys get all of my personal info, they just get my opinions on my Paladin.
They allow new members now; I joined it about the same I joined here (same name).
Also, to the OP, if you go to EZ Board (http://www.ezboard.com) and do a search, you might find some areas of interest. The board format is similar to this one.
