I’m so sorry, Matt. Your dad sounded like a great guy. I lost my mother two months ago, and the best advice I received was just to take things one step at a time. Be sure to take whatever time you need to grieve and think about your dad.

Your father has touched this world. The response that’s happened is evidence of that. You, yourself, are evidence of that. In this way, he lives still.

I’m terribly sorry, Matt. I’m listening to some of your dad’s reports now - he was an amazing journalist. I’m going into journalism, and interning for National Public Radio here in the States. He’s definitely one of the best radio journalists I’ve heard. He will be greatly missed in the journalism community.
