On what do you base that? You clearly are ignorant that in the US color impaired pilots CAN be licensed to fly, a simple google will reveal not only the regs and requirements involved but detailed information on how a colorblind pilot can navigate the bureaucracy involved.
Yes, pilots DO fly with questionable electrical systems. Pilots do a LOT of things they probably shouldn’t, definitely shouldn’t, are sometimes foolish, and sometimes stupid. You know why? It’s because they’re human beings and prone to all the faults and failings of human beings. They aren’t paragons of perfection and virtue.
There’s even a regular column in a long-running aviation magazine that is nothing BUT pilots writing about what they shouldn’t have done or how they screwed up. It’s called “I Learned About Flying From That” in Flying.

Yes, I do use hyperbole and sometimes exaggeration. I have never denied this. I also sometimes changed names and some details because the other people involved have not been asked if they want to have their participation in some discussed events posted on the internet. I am here for entertainment, and for relating events in a manner I hope others find entertaining. But there is a core of truth behind everything I’ve said, and I have multiple times both here and in the past offered to prove my credentials (as a pilot, for example) to either the board administrators or a neutral third party.

I find her posts to be entirely clear and articulate. I can’t even agree with your nitpick in the original thread, seeing as occupy also has the meaning “take control of (a place, especially a country) by military conquest or settlement.”
All in, considering some of the rampant nonsense and racism she has to contend with, I think she’s got every reason to be snarky on occassion. More power to her.
