"Our" Song

Well, actually, if things had ever gotten that far, I’m sure I would have shared my memories with “her” (them), and it might have gotten played at “our” wedding. I did catch up with one of them thirty years after we’d last seen in each other and I presented her with a painting she’d done that I’d been lugging around the country for decades and she barely remembered painting it. Memories are funny that way.

My recent ex introduced me to reggae, and our song was Pretty Lady by Rebelution.
If I hear it, it makes me sad.

Our song? Groovy Kind Of Love, by Robin Williams, impersonating Elmer Fudd.
Well, that’s what Madame P. says it is.

My wife and I have no “song” so the title reminded me of the Yes song from 90125 "Our Song!

Our song, it gives us a reason
Our song, that good remedy
Music and magic, it’s good clear syncopation

Music, good to you
Music, good to you

Indeed. Damn, Yes is over 50 years old and that album is over 30 ETA 40! years old.
