I’m watching the pilot tonight, which is free on Youtube right now. It actually premieres on TV tomorrow. It has already been renewed for a second season, too.
Anyone else watched it or planning to watch?
Saw it and liked it. Not an amazing pilot, but I’m definitely interested in where the show is going. Anyone else?
I enjoyed it, will keep watching. Glad he figured out the trick wasn’t just punching the devil out of kids though.
It was okay. I’d get bored if it’s just exorcise the demon of the week, slowly explore the mystery of the coming purge, and deal with the cliche jerk brother-in-law cop who thinks you’re a dirt bag, but you’re really not. Hopefully it will have more of a twist than just what we’ve seen.
I wanted to like it, but just couldn’t.

So who is the kid from the beginning of the first episode? The one who bashes his own head against the wall and then starts to rip his jaw apart. At first I thought that was the main character when he was a kid but now I guess not.
So I’m not sure if I got this straight but from what I’ve been able to piece together: Kyle found his wife beating and choking their daughter, literally beat the devil out of her and then took all the blame for beating her AND the kid? Are they trying to paint this as some kind of noble sacrifice? because leaving your kid in that situation seems extremely fucked up, specially after what he went through with his mother. The kid remembers what happened and would have been able to corroborate the events, there was no reason to do something that stupid.
