Inspired by this thread, I was wondering what horror stories you can come up with regarding operations.
Many years ago I had a highly selective vagotomy which is not very often undertaken these days- well in regard to ulcers anyway. If I have a procedure done at a hospital I normally have to explain to the nurses what it was.
