outsider music?

A few years ago, Chicago’s WMFT played a piece of music that was, in my vague memory, dictated to its a composer (a nun? a shut-in?) by–angels on the moon?–or something. I think it was a piece of choral music. Anyway, it struck as roughly the musical equivalent of one of those religious visionaries who builds a house out of bottle caps because the angel of the lord tells them too.

In any case, I would dearly love it if this rang a bell to someone here; I’d like to try to track down this music again.

Sorry for the bump, but I thought I’d give it one more try.

Any clues of where to search would also be appreciated; no one at FMT remembers the specific piece of music, though a couple of people there vaguely remember something of that nature.

Try shooting an email to The American Song Poem Music Archive. If that doesn’t work I’d try the folks at WFMU’s Incorrect Music.
