Here is the Hollywood Reporter link for the trailer of Oz the Great and Powerful - a new Disney film coming out in March.

It has a decent cast, and looks like they have sunk some bucks into production values, so it looks like it could be fun.
I’ve always been an Oz fan (movie and books) so I squee’d a bit when I first saw the trailer in the theater. I really, really hope it’s good and in the spirit of Baum’s books. The movie has good credentials so I’m hopeful.
PS I’m so grateful that they did not go with a “Wizard of Oz” remake that had been rumored for a while.
I think a twisted part of me was hoping that the hero would speak like an 1890s carnival hustler, with such a heavy accent and using so much slang you need a glossary to understand him.
