Packers v. Bears: NFC Championship Game.

For the third time, Dio, thank you.

AAAhhhhh.

The Bears played harder than the Packers for the whole 60 minutes, but the Bears couldn’t climb out of the hole from the first half.

Sam Shields had a great game, but I’m amazed how much having a good punter can mean to a team. Hester was bottled up all day, which took away the Bears’ best weapon.

The Bears defense gave up a ton of yardage and a couple of TDs early, but came out to play the second half and all but shut the Pack down. But their offense and special teams couldn’t get it done.

Bring on the Steejets. Or the Jeelers!!!

Packers fan agreeing the grounding call was questionable.

Probably would have done better with Cutler in the whole game

And what was with the run/run/pass with 4 to go???

Brian

The Packers of two weeks ago could beat either of the Jets or Steelers. Perhaps easily. This week’s Packers? I don’t think they could beat my Vikings without help. And my Vikings aren’t good.

Agreed. Martz reverts to form and tryies too hard to be smart. I saw the formation and the man in motion, and thought “end around.” The Packers did too.

But good on the NFC North, hey? Earlier this season, people were saying that we were just a bit better than the AFC West, but just a bit. And now look: two of our teams are the best in the NFC. That’s outstanding.

Good on ya, Packers. Nice effort, Bears. You both have seasons to be proud of.

The second half Packers weren’t good. But their first half were very, very good. No way did they play a complete game, but that first half Packers team was excellent.

They went into Chicago and won. That’s an accomplishment to be proud of.

And I’ll take them in Super Bowl no matter who wins tonight. I’d rather the JETS because I think they’re easier to beat, but I’m rooting for the Steelers because I’m obligated to do so.

Nonsense. Every team that has made the Super Bowl deserves it. It’s not like they get in via poll or something. The only way a team makes it is by beating everyone in their path, and to say that such a team doesn’t deserve it is asinine.

The Packers are still fucking garbage. They didn’t win today, Chicago just gave it to them. The Packers’ don’t gave a chance against either the Jets or the Steelers. They are not a threat to win it all, but it’s disappointing that a team that didn’t even deserve to be in the playoffs manages to stink up a spot in the Superbowl.

“Evil will always triumph because Good is Dumb.”

Your pain makes me smile.

You’re so cute.

Once again, you make this loss so much easier to take.

I don’t know if I’m going to be popular in Chicago, but I’m rooting Pack for the Super Bowl.

Dio is the cherry on my sundae.

Dio is the icing on my cake.

Dio is the olive in my martini.

Gotta give it to the Pack, the made mincemeat out of the Falcons and beat the Bears in a close game. Since my picks for Superbowl were Falcons and Patriots I can fairly be said to have NO idea who will win the Super Bowl, but damn, the Pack sure demonstrated they belong there.

I’ll admit – if the Bears had won, I would have considered rooting for them in the Super Bowl (as I did against the Colts), especially against the Steelers. Probably not, because two weeks wouldn’t have been enough time, but possibly. I have always deemed the Bears worthy adversaries, unlike the Vikings, who just suck now and forever.

The bitters in my Manhattan.

What pain? It’s just a game. I don’t give a shit.
