Packers Win, Bush Loses

You said if we let you and you-know-who watch you would say a word to anyone.

Spongy and I are very, very disapointed.

And he happens to be descended from Rabbi Judah Loew, the Maharal of Prague (1525-1609), who, according to legend, created the Golem of Prague! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_kerry; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Judah_Loew; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golem.

Later on, somebody will figure out what, if anything, that signifies.

oh.
You meant the kitten in GWB’s lap.

Disregard that last post.

No. Everything I said in my post is true. There ARE people who think Weekly Reader voters are “smarter, more studious” kids. Google “Weekly Reader” and “Nickelodeon” for examples. You will also find adults who laughingly admit they voted in the Weekly Reader poll.

I have nothing more than anecdotal evidence on the kitten issue, but it’s from a reliable source.

I may be wrong, but I suspect that Tigers tongue was encheeked.
I think that you were joshed.

Well, one might, except you have provoked me to wonder what you’re trying to hide.

Did Bush declare war on it or simply kill it and eat it?

I thought they were cheese Packers?

Nope, originally formed as a team for a meat packing company.
As an anecdotal data point, I remember my first weekly reader poll, which I took during first grade in 1980. I had no idea who my parents were voting for (and I assume now that it was Carter), but I remember looking at the old guy, and thinking that I would feel bad for him if he lost because he was kind of old and might not have a chance to be president again if he lost this one, so I voted Regan. So I was swayed purely by the picture (iirc, he wasn’t wearing a suit and seemed ‘grandfatherly’) and not by how my parents were voting.

2nd grade, 1988, Bush Vs. Dukakis. We had to wear a big fat red button for Bush or a big fat blue button for Dukakis. All the kids were running around frantically screaming that we had to vote for Bush because if Dukakis won he was going to let all the prisoners out of jail. Well, I must’ve had a pretty good horseshit detector even back then so I started reading and asking adults about it.

I was the only kid I saw wearing a blue button.

I always trust authority figures holding cats.

Never did a Weekly Reader, but in 1992 I voted for Perot in a similar idea at school. Mostly because I didn’t really care and was joking around. The amusing part is that since I’ve had the ability to vote I’ve gone third-party.

Yeah, like this guy!
