Paging Manhattanites: Rec for Lesbian Club?

I’m taking The Girl on a date next Friday. My plan is to do dinner in the Village and then go out for a couple of hours of dancing. Any recommendations for a club? Mostly lesbian crowd would be great, but a mixed place is okay, too. A must is fun, contemporary dance music (no dykes strumming a guitar and singing Peter, Paul and Mary).

Back in the day- about 10 years ago- my bi girlfriend used to like the Clit Club. Don’t know if it’s still around, but somebody should be along with a more contemporary recommendation.

I’m pretty sure the Clit Club closed in the '90s.
