As for the article, I agree completely–this kind of thing is horrible, detestable, obscene. Whether Israelis have done anything comparable–and some have–doesn’t change that.
See, what I think you still just don’t get, december m’man, is that not everything is an either-or proposition. Believe it or not, I can sonehow manage to abhor Palestinian terror and still despise some Israeli actions. I can still support Israel and her people while being disgusted by Sharon and his past. I’m not going to deny Palestinian violence and terrorism, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to give Israel a free pass, either.
I’m just not sure why you feel you’re not a true supporter of Israel unless you hate all Palestinians and cheer every Israeli move. But then, I suppose you might suggest I’m not a patriotic American for disagreeing with and disapproving of some of my country’s actions. . .

As has been stated about a trillion times before, even though you choose to ignore it, there are many people here who find both parties in the Middle East conflict at fault. As our country supports one side over the other, and it’s proponents proclaim that it mirrors our value system closely, we just expect more from Israel.
