And all this went on on some kid’s Facebook page because he dared to say that “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” was failing. I mean, how dare he “talk shit” about the Palins? On his own Facebook page no less?
Good fucking grief! What a stunning display. And instead of properly disciplining her children and cutting off their computer use, that Wasilla Twit defends these mouthy little bitches. Unfuckingbelievable.
What’s crazy is that Bristol is 20 years old and a mother. I’m not terribly surprised that the 16 year old jumped in there with the fighting, but the 20 year old? Aye aye aye.
Can anyone in their right mind imagine Palin and her trashy family occupying the White House?
Kids will be kids and all that, but if Palin can’t handle such situations with more tact and grace, I don’t see how she expects to be treated seriously on an international stage.
Not a day can go by without yet another story about the deeds of Half-Governor Palin. It’s not being a media genius if everyone is laughing at you. And here I am, commenting in the millionth Dope thread about her. FML.
More disturbing is that it’s entirely clear that by characterizing it simply as Willow saying a “bad word” as if she’d said “fuck” rather than admitting that Willow used a disgusting, personal slur, it’s only reinforces the fact that Palin is herself a homophobe who really doesn’t see much wrong with the word faggot, except that when her kid says it in public, it makes her look bad.
It’s interesting that she went waaay back in time to pick up the 57 states goof. What I’d really love for her to explain is how what was an obvious mouth-worked-faster-than-brain slip by an unquestionably well-educated, well-read and importantly well-informed person in the midst of a brutal campaign schedule, perhaps days removed from his last proper night’s sleep, is in any way equivalent to what she said during a time where her most pressing engagement was preparing her Thanksgiving dinner.
I used to think the nearly year-long and cumbersome American primary system was ridiculous but since it will almost certainly keep a flash-in-the-pan like Palin out of office (i.e. if she tries for the nomination, she’ll have to compete with members of her own party who are just as ambitious as her, but way smarter), I have to admit it’s not all bad.
Odd that you should find that the MOST disturbing thing, considering that in normal usage (as pertaining to what I’ll call “the Lower 48”), the terms are interchangeable.
