Panic on the streets of London

Just got it in an email - made me smile

Meanwhile in the real world - the daily commute was a little wetter than usual in parts of London today…

now I have the song stuck in my head.

[sub]hang the DJ hang the DJ…[/sub]

“could life ever be sane again
On the grim side streets that you slip down”

Burn Down the Disco!

Hang the blessed DJ!
because the music they constantly play,
it says nothing about me or my life

The sun? Now there’s a light that never goes out.

Sounds like Portland in the winter.

“What’s that big bright thing in the sky?”

Nice one, Crusoe.

Crusoe, will you take me out tonight, where there’s music and there’s people and they’re young and alive?

Funny- I sent this to my parents, who are moving to Cheltenham in August. Every time they’ve been over (to look for a flat, etc.) the only thing they talk about when they get back is the rain.

Tansu, it was really nothing.

It’s this Bernard Quatermass character, I’m telling you.

What Rasa asked of Crusoe at the end of the day, Caligula would have blushed. “Oh, you’ve been in the house too long,” she said, and heeeee naturally fled.
