I swear to god, my underwear is dissapearing!
I had (among others) a half a dozen really comfie black cotton panties, and now I am down to one or two pair!
I live with 2 kids, they arent taking them…
I only take them off at home…
Any theories?

Okay…here are the options.

They aren’t making it to the washer–under the bed, behind the dryer, weird places like that.

They aren’t making it to the dryer–they’re being sucked into the sock-dimension. If they’re ‘little’ black undies, this may be the case. (and I suspect the guys around here would like to know just what they look like)

They’ve gotten pushed back in the drawer and somehow pushed over the side of the drawer into the inside of your dresser. Yes, it happens. You’ll have to take out your drawers to find your drawers–so to speak.

The kids are using them for interesting things–doll blankets, etc. Strange? You’d be surprised.

That odd looking guy across the street is really sneaking in and nabbing them. Sniffing them. Wearing them…ugh. Forget I said that.

Underwear can be jealous. Maybe some of your ‘other’ colored undies are taking them out one by one. Not a common thing, but I’m running out of ideas.
I sure don’t have them. If I see them, I’ll let you know. And you and my husband will have some explaining to do. He’s cute. He’d dig your black undies…maybe I’ll have to get me some.

possibility A: A bleaching incident in the laundry room has made them now white cotton panties.
possibility B: If you washed a blanket or sheet recently, check tp make sure they are not static clung to it.
possibility C: don’t even think it, I never touched them.

A guy I used to work with told me about when he was a kid, he and his family always wondered what happened to their socks and underwear after the laundry–always seemed to be missing at least one piece a week.
You know how some houses have a little vent for the dryer’s exhaust? The vent was on the side of the house that no one ever went to. Well, somehow, the screen that kept things from flying out of the dryer was displaced… and one day, he was playing hide & seek, and went to this side of the house… and found a giant pile of socks and underwear, right under the vent.
