2nd edition is good enough for me. After all, The Computer published it and Our Friend Computer wouldn’t release a faulty game, would it?

Scuba_Ben, we have had one successful (i.e. mission failure) game in Philly with myself GMing and Verrain, TruePisces, Cleophus, Thanos, and DocCathode as players. If we ever get around to having another game I’ll be sure to let you know.

Incidentally, we played Me & My Shadow, Mark IV from Acute Paranoia. They didn’t get past the scrubot.

There is no Second Edition of Paranoia. To state that there is a previous edition of Paranoia is to imply that said edition was in some manner less than fully functional. This is impossible, because the computer can never be other than perfect, and statements to the contrary are treasonous and punishable by immediate extermination. The current edition of Paranoia is the only edition of Paranoia to ever exsist.

Also, any reference to the game being called Paranoia are also treasonous. The proper name of the product is The Sense of Calm and Well-Being that Infuses All Citizens Who Place Their Lives into the Caring and Logical Hands of the Computer. Any mention of this game as being called Paranoia is an act of treason, and is punishable by extermination.
