Which of the two is the most powerful?
Well, unless she’s been ret-conned lately I don’t think Rogue’s powers can actually kill someone whereas the Parasite’s can, and IIRC Parasite doesn’t have to be in direct physical contact to drain energy, so I’d give the edge to the Parasite in the energy-leeching powers department. As I understand Rogue’s powers these days she can manifest the powers of anyone she’s previously drained, so in that regard I’d give her the edge.
Right now, her powers are zip-zilch, negatory good buddy. I’m sure they’ll be back, but even when she had the ability to manifest past absorbtoins, it was sort of random and uncontrolable. Parasite is a match for Superman: rouge isn’t in that class, even with her old invulnerability she got knocked to funk out just about every other page.
The reason Rogue gets knocked about is that the most powerful person she has ever absorbed was Mz Marvel. She wasnt in Supermans class so neither was Rogue. Had she absorbed the Hulk then parasite is in big trouble. Parasite absorbs by proximity. In which case, the closer he gets the faster he drains. Rogue absorbs by touch and while her powers may not kill, they would drain both power and memory. The absorbed may not be dead but they might as well be.
If Rogue touched the parasite, she would be physically weak from his touch but he will be absorbed mind and power. She would overwhelm his power because he would not be in control of his power while her mutant power act automatically.
Well, I like to think of myself as a dashing rogue, but some of my relatives consider me a parasite.
What? Never mind.
So, has Rogue ever encountered the Hulk? If she sucked him dry, would he revert to Banner?
How does Killer Frost (the Firestorm villainess) compare with either of these two?
Since Rogue’s absorbing powers already cause her to have a borderline multiple personality disorder having her absorb Hulk who has a full blown multiple personality disorder would probably frappe’ her poor little brain.
