Static Vs. Magneto

Static possesses the electric powers of Storm plus Magneto’s magnetic powers.

Magneto’s had his powers a lot longer than Static and is a stone killer to boot.

Can raw power and youthful determination beat lesser power plus experience and ruthlessness?

BTW, this is Static.

:smack: there’s me thinking you meant white-noise
(teach me to not be an x-men fanatic)

Um . . . Static has nothing to do with the X-Men. He’s a DC character (Part of the defunt Milestone imprint that featured minority heroes, to be more specific.).

Magneto would kick Static’s ass, by the way.

Oooh… a real one.

I mean, not a silly fest.

I would pick Magneto.

Even with similar powers, MaggyBoy is so much more cunning and adaptable than Static. (going strictly by memory here)

And, what NuclearCanine said about killing.

Magneto has such great control over metals he can kill someone by manipulating the iron in their blood. They may have similar powers, but Static is nowhere near Maggy’s power level.

Mag no contest. Static would show up, and Magneto would jam a signpost through him.

Question: How “true” is Static in the cartoon to Static from the comics?

Dunno. But unless Static in the comics is capable of global-scale manipulations, Magneto wins so badly it ain’t even funny.

Magneto can and has the ability to EMP the whole planet on a whim. Plus his technology is at elast as good as Static’s sidekick/later partner.

Well, I know in the cartoon, Static tends to fly around on a metal dish/manhole cover. Mags would simply wrap this around his feet, crush his legs, then leave him crying like a baby. No need to kill him, he’s not really worth the effort.

Like smiling bandit said. Plus, Magneto has been around a lot longer, thereby having more time to develop his powers.

Magneto wins, hands down.
