I am not looking for medical advice, however my curiosity was aroused by my personal experience and what I read:
When I cross my legs, I don’t get paresthesia until I uncross them or stop squeezing the nerve. I understand why one would get paresthesia when the nerves are pinched but why would one get paresthasia only after one stops pinching them?
Also, I’ve read that discontinuing some reuptake inhibitors can cause paresthesia. What’s the mechanism of action there since no nerves compressed or hit? Why does that type of paresthesia tend to be located only in particular parts of the body and not all over?
