But the persona she projects? Forget it. Anorectic skank is possibly the least attractive of modern beauty trends. Maybe if she gained twenty pounds (and at least fifty IQ points).

So is Rachel Ray (get off of my fucking Cheez-Its!) and I can’t stand either one off them.
I guess I have a disconnect here; to me, she is scrawny and utterly fungible in both appearance and manner; if she weren’t on the rotating carosel of standard photos that CNN.com puts up on their front page when nothing of note is currently being blown up, I couldn’t pick her out of a random lineup of sophomore coeds. To me, she’s not even especially pretty when a photographer catches her at her best angle in ideal light, and when she turns her head she appears to rotate through certain aspects orthogonal to reality where she becomes a somewhat repulsive-looking hag and/or minion of Dagon.
Not pretty, doesn’t have a good smile, and unpleasant to be around. I’d rather be stuck in an elevator with Drew Barrymore for hours on end (trust me, it’s not a good thing) than spend five minutes with Paris Hilton, albeit, just barely. But then, I also can’t figure out what everybody sees in Cameron Diaz or Uma Thurman, either.

She’s one of those people who looks great from some angles and “manufactured and blah” from other angles. I think she wears clothes well and has a good hairdresser.
And the “wrinkley white-haired guy” thing is cracking me up.

Agreed. Plus she’s starting to look more like her mom, and that ain’t bad! Too bad Kathy’s a Republican because she seems to have something on the ball otherwise. But Republican women have always been a weakness for me.

Well, she certainly isn’t drop dead gorgeous but she is reasonably attractive. I’ve heard that her blowjob technique is sort of meh. (That’s what I heard)

I don’t normally find her physically attractive at all, but she looks quite attractive to me in pics 2 & 3 without all the model makeup. But that’s me - I’ve never liked the current makeup styles that ultimately make all these women look exactly alike. A while back I got ticked off when I saw Keira Knightley — a young woman I normally find extremely attractive — on the cover of some fashion magazine, and the makeup artists had completely wiped out everything that was unique about her face. The photo made her look exactly like every other generic model you see on those magazine covers. I didn’t even recognize her until I spotted her name on the cover.
Oh, yeah! I was in Kohl’s and Hayden Panetierre is one of the celebs they’ve hired to help connect with Today’s Youth. If her signs didn’t have her name on them I’d’ve never guessed it was her. Nothing that makes her cute was left, just boring, generic, Photoshopped “beauty.”
Kohl’s has also contracted with the band Plain White T’s to show the company can be “urban” and “edgy.” Er, those guys went to high school with my oldest and the only people who would think Villa Park, Illinois, is urban and edgy would be people at Kohl’s HQ in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. However, I’ve been to Menomonee Falls and it really does make pretty much the rest of the country seem urban and edgy.
Supposedly she did her political ad in 4 takes without the use of a teleprompter. So that right there already makes her more articulate than our current president.
And remember, she was pretty much the first of the “famous for being famous” celebrities. Way before Kardashian or Hogan or the cast of The Hills. Plenty of rich kids are into the sex, drugs and nightclubs lifestyle. She made a career out of it.

I don’t find Paris the least bit attractive. Her Mama though, I’d love to have helped her find her Gucci.
She’s a attractive in every conventional way. She’s tall, thin, blonde, pretty and she appears to be game for anything. I also think the “stupid” thing is mostlly an act.
I knwo a lot of guys like to say how uninterested they would be, but I believe that 99% of those guys would fall all over themselves if she ever actually spoke to them in real life.
I think there’s a couple of things going on here.

She’s into heavy makeup during a time when “the no-makeup makeup look” is in. She’s therefore different from all the other girls who pretend they’re not wearing any. She also doesn’t dress the way all those other girls do.

Most guys are usually willing to allow themselves to be attracted to someone physically independent of whether the woman is attractive as a person. Most guys usually resent being sexually manipulated by women — cleavage, slutty behavior, short skirts, and so on — but it does work. Most men can maintain this dichotomy in their minds: “yes, she’s physically attractive, and I’d hit it, but I still hate her.”

Paris is very sexually open and unambiguous. Most women conceal their interest, act coy, want the men to make the first move, and generally send signals of “I’m not interested in sex, and I never will be, because Good Girls Don’t.” It puts the burden on men to take all the risks, makes men feel guilty, as if they are primitive lusty animals and women like pristine angels above such mortal considerations. In other words, she takes the guilt out of sexual attraction.
That said, I don’t think she’s all that. She’s too thin, too plastic, too much makeup. Not enough curves for me. I wouldn’t call her ugly, but she doesn’t do it for me.

Everyone says she’s a skank. Is she really? Does one sex tape a slut create? I don’t care about her one way or the other, I’m just wondering if the perception of her being slutty are true or part of her “image.”
I don’t see why that should make a difference to attractiveness anyway. A lot of male sex symbols are sluts. It doesn’t seem to hurt them any. How many chicks has Brad Pitt bagged?
I don’t claim to know all that much about her (other than that she’s famous for being famous) but I definitely don’t think that making a sex tape makes on a skank. She looks quite pretty to me but I’m obviously not that well qualified on whether I find her attractive or not (lacking a penis as she does).
But I would agree with those upthread who say she’s pretty but not astoundingly so - no-one’s going to lay siege to Troy on her behalf.
There was one photo of her with short hair that I thought was very cute.
Other than that, I think she’s very very aware of her celebrity. She’s probably a real bitch to the little people.
