As Jess in the movie Bend It Like Beckham, Ms. Nagra has a large burn scar on her right leg.
Is this a real scar? I wonder, because its presence in the movie as a character detail doesn’t seem to add anything to the story.

I was just shocked to learn that she’s 27 while Kiera Knightley was about 16 at the time of filming.
Surprised me, too. They really look about the same age (mid-teens).
