Parse "Drawn Together" for me

That was one crazy Yom Kippur!

And as a cite, Season Two, Episode One- it is mentioned that Strawberry Sweetcake has been performing unnecessary abortions- she counters
“Unnecessary?!?” and holds up a jar with an embryonic “Foxxy Sockbat”,
to which Foxxy makes the Yom Kippur remark.

I missed the Capt Hero & Paris ep.

Btw, anyone know if the Season One DVD has the “Captain Hero Loses His Powers” ep that was never aired?

Y’all realize the same actress that played the voice of Penny on the cartoon Inspector Gadget plays Foxxy Brown, right?

She also play Elmyra and Numbah 5.

Tiny toons and Kids Next Door, respectively

Everyone saw the cameos by Marge and Homer Simpson, I trust?

Cree Summer is everywhere since A Different World. I once watched an interview with her wherein she explained she loved doing voice work because you can be anyone or anything.

Not on the DVD and probably won’t see the light of day for a very long time. For those who don’t know:Cap falls off a horse à la Christopher Reeve.

I still expected it to be on the DVD. I don’t expect the people that buy the ‘Drawn Together’ DVD set to be the type that would complain about something like that.

It’s airing the beginning of next year and will be on the season two DVD (according to Bill Merrick, writer for the series, posting on the Toonzone forum).

Cool, thanks for the info pizzabrat!

I don’t think the people who buy it are the main problem. Paramount probably had enough trouble getting it on Wal*Mart shelves as it is!

If that’s the case, then isn’t it Cree Summer, formerly of the sitcom A Different World, which spun off the Cosby Show? She is still friends with Lisa Bonet and Lenny Kravitz, the latter of which produced an album she (Cree) had put together…

Yep I guess so… (link to imdb listing for her…)

In one episode, Foxxy and Hero have a sado-masochistic affair. They end it when they realize the “spark” has died. Foxxy reminisces by saying, “We’ll always have Paris…that’s what we called it when I smashed his penis with a lead model of the Eiffel Tower.”

I saw Marge. Where was Homer?

I forgot to add that it was revealed that Foxxie’s show aired in the mid-80s.

That doesn’t make sense.

The blaxploitation thing was in the 70’s.

But Captain Caveman was in the 80s. Go fig.

Yes, but she is suppose to be one of those Mystery Solving teens in addition to the Blaxplotation angle. You don’t think a Hannah Barbera Cartoon will make a show when a thing is actually popular, do you? No, they must wait until everyone is tired of it.

That didn’t make sense Scott. Scooby was on in 1969 an originated the crime fighting/mystery solving teen cartoon concept that was copied to death. Josie was on in the 70’s. These were both Hanna Barbara.

Jim

Just time I looked, Mystery Solving teens were around far before the late 60s, and so were girl groups.
