Hmm. Ok, in this thread, it says :

So, if you want to provide a link to a picture that’s not safe for work, easiest is to use the tags [parse] and [/parse] so that the link can’t be reached accidentally.

Is that still the case in Discourse ? How is it supposed to work ?
Is there an alternative ? Or is that the spoiler tags ?

Our recommendation is to hide the NSFW pic under the detail spoiler tag. Change summary to NSFW image. Or just have a link to the picture. In the second example, I typed NSFW, a space, and pasted in the link.

Ok.looks like the “Beginner’s Guide to Glossary of Terms on Straight Dope Message Boards” needs amending !

That is a post from 2005 and for different software. I guess it does need an update. I did a very minor update to that post for now.

What we really need to do is update the actual FAQ for SDMB.
