Parser Message: RCINT Failure. What the hell does that mean?

Well, a non-spyware related computer question, how awesome is that?

Not that awesome? Well, what is it that you people want, puppies and sparklers? I’ll get right on that, but in the mean time, I’m having a touch of computer trouble.

Whenever I start my computer, before I can log in, the message

pops up. What the hell? Also, when I try to shut the computer down, the shut-down dialog pops up, and I tell it to shut-down, restart, or whatever, and nothing happens. It just sits there, oblivious, out of it, ignoring me. A lot like my ex-boss. So, what should I do to fix this little issue here? Oh, and I’m running Windows XP Home Edition on a HP Laptop.

Google is really handy when you have specific error messages like yours.

Here’s a few hits I came up with that might help you out:

Seems like either a modem problem or something with “StyleXP”

Good luck!

Ah, it must have been those bastards over at StyleXP. Thanks for the information, and I’ll Google more thoroughly in the future.
