I took P-F and Redux for several months and never really thought about getting an EKG until lately. I have seen tons of commercials from “ambulance chaser” type attorneys talking about the P-F/Redux $12 billion settlement.

Have any of our fine dopers been a part of this suit? If so, did you contact an attorney to be tested? Did you recieve a settlement?

I am looking for some guidance to see if it is worth my while to submit myself to this. I am currently without insurance and would appreciate the comfort of a free EKG, and all hopes that it would be a clean bill of heart health!

I am bumping my question in hopes that someone who has participated, and hasn’t seen it will.

I contacted one of the firms that has the settlement commercials today, and they are sending me a packet of info.

Can someone who has participated give me some idea of what I should expect? How does this process work?
