Hey all. As much as I’d like to say “A wizard is never late…”, the joke doesn’t work as welll when I haven’t shown up until now.

Funny you should mentions wizards being late, I was just talking about how worried the Hobbits were when Gandalf failed to meet them at the Prancing Pony in Bree.

You know, in my travels to the Far Orient, I met an illusionist who had great skill in his craft. Somehow or other, however, he got his tricks a little mixed up: he’d saw a lady in half lengthwise, or pull a fox out of his hat instead of a rabbit.
It was all quite amusing until he tried the ‘severed thumb’ trick with his own head. The results, as you might guess, were unkind to viewers with weak constitutions.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as much, guys. I’m just a little stressed these days. There’s this…little sexual quirk I have, and a lot of people have been telling me I’m sort of sick for having it. ::sigh::
Hey now, who ate the last of the double chocolate brownies? And who do I get the recipe from? Those were really good! Ah well, guess it’s my turn back at the mic.
[singing] Jenny, I’ve got your number, I need to make you mine. Jenny, don’t change your number, 8 6 7 5 3 0 9…(8 6 7 5 3 0 9)[/singing]

Hey, calm down, have a beer. We’re all friends here, let’s talk about something else to take your mind off it. Seen any good movies lately?
Ok, let me just whip up some cocktails here…who wants what?
Ahh… a cocktail. Just what the doctor ordered! I’ll take a Brandy Alexander.
Ahh… brandy alexanders… I remember drinking a snootful of B.A.'s in the backseat of a Buick Skylark parked on the shores of the Mississippi River with a certain young lady. Her name, by sheer coincidence, was also Brandy Alexander, if memory serves me correctly.

MHaye, what do you have in that bag you brought?
Diomedes, have you ever written about any of your adventures?
I really need a drink. Or maybe two. I hate road construction.
Sounds good to me, can we get a couple of rum and cokes over here? (If Kat takes hers without rum, you can make mine a double )
Construction is a pain, but you’re here now so relax and enjoy. We have all kinds of stuff, lots of great food, plenty to drink and a karaoke machine is set up with a great selection of songs. Twickster has a really good voice, maybe if we’re really nice we can coax her into doing another number for us.

Not a lot, to be honest. Let’s see…
My iPod - essential for long trips on public transport. Or any trips, really.
A map of the area, so I knew which route to take from the station.
Today’s paper, although goodnness knows why I kept it.
A puzzle book and a novel to while away the time on the trains.
